Picture a dock that goes out to the middle of a big lake, where the water is calm and warm enough to feel like a giant bathtub. The birds are chirping, your friends and family are all around you, and there’s music playing. The perfect set of tracks for this scene? Mac DeMarco’s Another One.

Currently on tour showing off his most recent Mini LP that he completely wrote and produced himself, the Canadian born singer-songwriter is back at it again. Released back in August of 2015, the album debuted at 25 on Billboard’s 200. Additionally, it hit number 1 for three charts in the US: Top Independent, Alternative, and Rock albums. It’s an 8-track collection of songs with that familiar DeMarco sound, a sort of modern take on late 60s, early 70s alternative, sprinkled with synth and full of emotion.

DeMarco will be gracing the Electric Factory in Philly with his presence this coming Thursday, and you can follow along with us to catch a bit of the action.
